Bridging Light Updates!

Hey people,

I was reading 'The Missing Piece' by Shel Silverstein to my children the other day and this story really struck my heart. This story is about a circle who lost part of itself and it went on a journey, looking for its missing piece. After a long journey and many mishaps, it finally found it's missing piece. However, after a while, it discovered that it could not sing its usual song. In a final act, it left behind it's missing piece so that it could sing it's song.

Many times, we aim for the sky and set goals and targets. Finally after we've got it, we found that we're still not happy. Then we aim for higher goals and aims. And it continues on and on. This cycle will continue until you are satisfied. Are you satisfied with what you've got now? Your life, your family, your studies or your work? St Augustine, in his Confessions, has a well written line, "My heart is restless till it rests in you, Lord!"

Bridging Light Updates!

Hey people,

Our ministries' leaders just returned from a retreat, well rested. Thank you for your prayers. During the retreat, an interesting observation was made. No matter how many great sessions or humorous talks you gave, the only actions registered in a person's head are the little actions or words that you used. To this day, I'm constantly amazed that my little words or actions have such great impact on people - be it ill or gentle mannered. You might think that the action or word you are saying now is small but when it is sown in another person's life, it will yield a hundredfold.
