Bridging Lights Updates

Hey people!

I was at my grandma's house yesterday and I overheard a conversion between two of my female cousins, who just became mothers recently, about which brand of milk is better. As I look back on my growing up years with my cousins, I also noticed that our conversations changes with age. When we were 4-6, we talked about games. When we enter primary and secondary schools, we talk about grades. When we become adults and enter 20s, we start questioning each other on whether we have boyfriends or girlfriends or when are we getting married. When we become parents, we talk about different brands of diapers, milk brands, etc. Pretty soon, I'm sure we will start talking about our grandchildren.

Time flies and we grow up fast in this modern world too. Grab hold of your time now and live it to the fullest!

Bridging Lights Updates

Hey people!

Wat a feast day yesterday! I had never imagined that so many pets would be there at the pets blessing. At first there were a registration of 30 then it swell up to almost 50! Tortoise, rabbit, parrots, hamsters, guinea pigs, cat and dogs. I had to tell the cat owner to move her pet away from the dogs just in case the dogs get too excited. Lol. Archbishop was fast in his blessing too. Within 5 minutes, it was all over. Many months of preparations falls down to 5 minutes of blessing.

Over the weekend, Mrs Lee Kuan Yew passed away. 90 years in the making and forever in mourning by a nation and the family. Sometimes, don't we all wish that our lives would end that way, instead of just a few months of mourning and that's it? Our condolences to the Lee family for a loving mother and a beautiful wife lost.

Back to the pets blessings... All in all, it was an exciting event by itself... something that you can see here in Straits Times itself. Check it out here!
