Recently I had a dream about ants. Millions of ants crawling around in my dreams. It's so... icky. The next day, I googled "Ants dreams interpretations" and one of the results said that: "To dream of ants means you will let small things accumulate and turn into a big burden. This is a warning so it's not to late to make changes and prevent this from being the case."
My own interpretation would be: To dream of ants means that I'm letting little sins accumulate and turn into a big burden. I don't have any big sins, just little sins here and there... But if these little sins were to add up, it would become a huge bag of burden! Imagine Jesus, carrying the whole world's burdens!

Let's lighten our heart and His load by receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation next week. Let's prepare our hearts once again, to receive him and to walk with him throughout his Passion. If He can die for you, what's so difficult about spending some time to ask for his forgiveness and love? So... have you been dreaming about any ants recently?
1) A Lent Taize prayer - An communal prayer with silence, repetitive songs, a simple passage from the Bible and a short reflection. We invite you to join in this communal prayer on 16 March, Tuesday, 8pm in the basement chapel with Father Gerard.
2) A Lent Movie Reflection - My Magic: featuring a single dad who looks to give up drinking and his bartender job in order to impress his son and find work as a magician. Happening on 27 March, 8pm in the Youth Room. Come on down!
3) Soup Kitchen - The parish is giving out free soup!? Haha, no! It's actually giving out food to the migrant workers who are living around this estate as a form of service and outreach monthly. The first one is this coming Saturday, 20 March. The packing of food starts at 8am and distributing of food is at 10am. If you are young and is interested in this project, do give Diana a call: 91096309.
3) Cell Group. Register your interest (Living in God 2010 from ages 14 - 20), here or Little Rock Scripture Studies - Acts of the Apostles for Young Adults (21 years to 30 years old) here! If you have registered but no one has contacted you yet, please call Moses @ 9827 6674.
4) Short term mission - A priest is coming down from Batam to give a short presentation on mission this Sunday to the youths at 9am in St Mary's Room, lvl 3. If you are interested to know how you can contribute to short term missions, do drop by and drop him a few questions.
5) Intercessories - Once every 2 weeks, a group of young adults and youths will come together to pray for the needs of everyone in the parish. If you have any petitions, please send them back to our email and we will pray for you:) This week, we pray for those who are suffering from not having anyone listening to them.
5) BSC Young Adults Weekend. Happening in Blessed Sacrament Church from Friday, 19 March to 21 March with no stay in required. A participation fee of $35 for food and logistics. Please contact Andrew Neo at andrew.neo@bsc.org.sg.
