Bridging Light Updates!

Hooyoo!

Today for the first time in my life, I finally understand how children can melt and break your heart with some simple words. Although I'm not a parent, I nearly teared when one of my child told me, while crying, "I don't like you because you are going away." For those who do not know, I'm a preschool educator. For some reasons, I'm being posted to another childcare centre in the East and tomorrow will be my last day in my current centre.

I tried explaining my reason to him and he just kept popping up with more questions, all starting with why. How do you try to explain a difficult decision you've made to your favourite child?

Isn't that the same with God? Sometimes our favourite things get taken away and we start throwing tantrums at God. How does God try to explain that this is one of the most difficult decision He has ever made, to you, His favourite child? How can Jesus try to explain to his disciples that He will soon die for their sins?

This being the season of Lent, let us remember God, with His most difficult decision ever made - sending His beloved Son to die for us sinners.

But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
