The BLYM Weekly

Hey people,

This week is the big week for our sec 3 Confirmants! This Saturday, they will be celebrating one God with the rest of the West District Parishes in St Ignatius Church. Also, if you haven't check out the Catholic News yesterday, our youths were on the news with two articles - Youth at the Helm and Young Artist Paints for the Greater Glory of God. Something to be proud of in our parish!

If any of you guys know Alvin Ong, the young artist, could you guys direct him to us? We would like to have a short chat with him about his fantastic painting!

1) Newsletter - Our SFAdotComm parish newsletter is coming up at end of this month, August! Keep a look out!

2) Tuition class - Going on as usual on Sunday afternoons for primary and secondary school curriculum. If you are interested to teach or to learn, please call Joachim @ 92394826.

3) Intercessory - Every fortnight, a group of youths and young adults come together to pray for the petitions of the ministry, the parish and the young people. If you do have any intercessions, please send them to this email and we will pray for you.

4) West District Exam Rally - 12 Sept. St Francis of Assisi. 1.30pm - 3.30pm, followed by Mass for exam blessings.

5) Weekend Away with His Vineyard - A faith community based in Blessed Sacrament Church that caters to the spiritual needs of young adults between the ages of 21 to 39, focusing on strengthening our relationship with Jesus within our Christian community and our parish. By building a sense of community, we hope to bring Jesus into our lives despite our hectic lifestyles.

They will be having their next Weekend Experience from the evening of Friday 11 Sept to Sunday 13 Sept. This will be a stay-out Weekend. For further information and the application form, please collect a brochure from members of "His Vineyard" outside the church this weekend.

Peace,
Joachim
