Our Weekly Updates for this Week

Hey fellas,

A Happy National Day to all! How had you spent your long weekend? The Wireless Communication workshop happened today and a good number of youth workers and parents joined us. It was an enjoyable, humourous and practical workshop conducted by Marion. Looking forward to the next parenting workshop by BLYM!

1) Our SFAdotComm parish newsletter is coming up at end of this month, August! Keep a look out!

2) Tuition class - Going on as usual on Sunday afternoons for primary and secondary school curriculum. If you are interested to teach or to learn, please call Joachim @ 92394826.

3) Intercessory - Every fortnight, a group of youths and young adults come together to pray for the petitions of the ministry, the parish and the young people. If you do have any intercessions, please send them to this email and we will pray for you.

4) Conversations with Sis Chris Yeo - Young adults looking for God's direction in your life? Can't find God or see how He's leading you? Enter 8 sessions with Sister Chris Yeo in St Mary of the Angels Church. Starting every Saturday, 3pm - 5pm, followed by Sunset Mass @ 5.30pm. A love token of $10 will be collected. Sounds interesting? Call Michael @ 94765852 to register by end of this week!

5) Weekend Away with His Vineyard - A faith community based in Blessed Sacrament Church that caters to the spiritual needs of young adults between the ages of 21 to 39, focusing on strengthening our relationship with Jesus within our Christian community and our parish. By building a sense of community, we hope to bring Jesus into our lives despite our hectic lifestyles.
They will be having their next Weekend Experience from the evening of Friday 11 Sept to Sunday 13 Sept. This will be a stay-out Weekend. For further information and the application form, please collect a brochure from members of "His Vineyard" outside the church this weekend.

Peace,

Joachim
